Achieving DO-178C Certification with Simulink

Daniel Martins is an application engineer at MathWorks France dealing with verification and validation activities involved in certification workflows such as DO-178C and EN50128. He works with existing and future users to set up a Model-Based Design environment that includes modeling of data and control flows, automatic code generation, and verification of model and code in the context of certification. Daniel has 20 years of experience applying MathWorks products across several industries, with the last ten years dedicated to guide and assist aerospace and railway companies in implementing model-based design to comply with DO and EN standards. Prior to joining MathWorks in 2000, Daniel worked as a C developer for the automotive supplier Magneti Marelli and also as a tester for the telecom company Alcatel. He holds an engineering degree in signal and image processing from the French engineering school ENSIMEV and he received a M.Sc. in electronic control engineering from the Salford University in England.
