Model-Based Systems Engineering – Design, analyze, and test system architectures

Vincenzo Petrella holds a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the La Sapienza University of Rome with a specialization in Flight Dynamics and Helicopter Flight Mechanics.
Before joining MathWorks he worked as a consultant for 5 years in the “Modeling & Distributed Missions Simulation” department of Leonardo’s Electronics division. During his time at Leonardo, he was involved in the development of dynamic MATLAB / Simulink models for flight simulators, deepening his knowledge on Model-Based Design and automatic code generation.
In 2018 he took on the role of Application Engineer for MathWorks with a focus on automatic C / C ++ code generation, Simulink model verification and validation and Model-Based System Engineering.
